LOCALISED FLOODING OCCURRING IN THE LYNDON-MINILYA RIVERS CATCHMENT
Heavy to intense rainfall has been observed in the Lyndon-Minilya Rivers catchment during Friday and into Saturday. Elevated river, creek and stream levels are occurring with localised flooding, which may continue for the remainder of Sunday and into Monday. Road conditions may be affected, and the isolation of some communities remains possible.
No significant rainfall has been observed since Saturday morning and no significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
A Flood Watch is current for southern parts of the Gascoyne, Central and Lower West Coastal catchments.
Lyndon-Minilya Rivers
Elevated river, creek and stream levels are occurring. Moderate flooding is occurring at Minilya Bridge. Localised flooding and transport disruptions are expected. Isolation of some communities is possible. Check road conditions before travelling.
