MINOR FLOODING AT NORMANTON TO CONTINUE OVER THE WEEKEND AND INTO NEXT WEEK
Minor flooding is expected to continue along the Norman River at Normanton over the weekend and into next week.
Isolated moderate rainfall was recorded in the catchment during Thursday evening and into Friday. Showers are forecast over the coming days which may cause renewed river level rises.
Moderate flooding is continuing along the lower Walker Creek at Burke Development Road with renewed rises occurring, where the creek level is currently 0.68 m above the bridge deck.
Norman River
Minor flooding is continuing along the Norman River at Normanton, with minor flooding continuing at Glenore Weir and moderate flooding continuing at Yappar River.
