MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT DAINTREE VILLAGE
Rain has eased across the Daintree River catchment with totals up to 55 mm being recorded since 9:00 am Tuesday. Minor flooding is easing along the Daintree River at Daintree Village where the river level peaked around 7.80 metres Tuesday afternoon above the moderate flood level (6.00 metres).
River levels have eased across the Mossman River catchment.
Further showers are possible for the next few days. However these showers are not expected to affect river levels significantly. The situation is being monitored closely and warnings will be updated as required.
