Moderate Flood Warning for the Paterson and Williams Rivers

MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT GOSTWYCK BRIDGE AND MILL DAM FALLS SUNDAY MORNING

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT DUNGOG LATE SATURDAY EVENING

Moderate to heavy rainfall has been observed since Friday night across the Paterson and Williams River catchments. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Saturday night and throughout Sunday. River level rises are occurring along the upper reaches of both rivers. Moderate flooding is likely along the Paterson River at Gostwyck Bridge. Along the Williams River, moderate flooding is forecast at Mill Dam Falls, with minor flooding likely at Dungog.

A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding is current for the Mid North Coast, Hunter and parts of Northern Rivers, Central Tablelands, North West Slopes and Plains, Northern Tablelands, South West Slopes and Snowy Mountains Forecast Districts.

Williams River

Moderate flooding is likely to occur along the Williams River.

Paterson River

Moderate flooding is likely to occur along the Paterson River.
