Minor to Major Flood Warning for the Manning and Gloucester Rivers

MAJOR FLOODING HIGHER THAN MARCH 2021 FLOOD LEVEL OCCURRING AT TAREE
MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT GLOUCESTER AND WINGHAM
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CROKI
Prolonged moderate to heavy rainfall since Tuesday has resulted in multiple major flood peaks along the Manning and Gloucester Rivers. Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast to continue across the Manning and Gloucester River catchments during Thursday.
River Levels at Taree are falling slowly but remain above the March 2021 level. With forecast rainfall, renewed river rises are possible.
A Severe Weather Warning is current for the Manning and Gloucester Rivers.
The situation is being closely monitored, and the warning will be update as required.
